Power Supply Issues
The Homer is powered from a DC supply 24 V ±10%. Be sure that your power supply meets the requirements according to Homer specifications (refer to the datasheet for your particular Homer modification).
Two alternative power supply connector types are used in Homer devices: TRIAD connector and DIN connector.
TRIAD Connector
The Thomas & Betts TRIAD 01 T01-0560-P04 subminiature circular connector (4-pin, male) or an equivalent is used with the following pinout:
Fig. 8. TRIAD power supply connector (front view).
|
Pin |
Signal |
Description |
|
1 |
GND |
Power supply – negative polarity (ground, mass) |
|
2 |
GND |
Connected with 1 |
|
3 |
+24 V |
Power supply – positive polarity (voltage relative to GND) |
|
4 |
+24 V |
Connected with 3 |
The mating cable connector is TRIAD 01 Series T01-0550-S04.
In the cable, the respective pins should also be connected together to relieve the current load of the pins.
DIN Connector
The 3-pin DIN-male power supply connector (DIN 41524) Amphenol T 3262 000 or an equivalent is used with the following pinout:
Fig. 9. DIN power supply connector pinout.

GND |
Power supply – negative polarity (ground, mass) |

The mating cable connector is T 3261 001.
It is recommended that the 0 V pins 1 and 3 be connected together also in the cable.
